Educate | Connect | Amplify
Preparing all children and youth for success by educating the community, connecting partners, and amplifying approaches that work.
GOAL AREA 1:
Kindergarten Readiness
Cradle to Career aspires that every Sonoma County child enters kindergarten ready to succeed, a predictor of academic achievement in the later grades. Optimal early childhood development, prenatal to age 5, is critical to school readiness, including early brain development, dental health, social emotional wellness, nurturing caregivers, and access to high quality early care and education.
GOAL AREA 2:
Academic
Success
Cradle to Career believes it is a moral and economic imperative that we support the academic success of all students in Sonoma County. By providing more relevant and engaging learning opportunities, giving students additional support during key transitions, and developing early warning systems to help at-risk students, more Sonoma County youth will succeed academically and in their life beyond school.
GOAL AREA 3:
College & Career Readiness
Today's economy, competitive job market, and rapidly changing world demand more education and training than ever before. In order to address this new reality, communities must look for ways to increase the likelihood a young adult will succeed in college or some other form of postsecondary training.
